All payments on Tellable Books are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS certified payment gateway. We never store or view your full credit card numbers, bank passwords, or UPI credentials. Razorpay handles transaction data under their strict security standards.

Admin access to the Tellable store uses password authentication protected with secure password hashing algorithms. For store customers, session cookies (such as tellable_sid) are used solely to manage temporary order states, rate-limit form submissions, and maintain security during your browsing session.

We distinguish between transactional emails (such as order receipts, shipping updates, and customer support replies) and marketing emails. Transactional emails are essential to order processing and cannot be opted out of. Marketing announcements are sent only to users who explicitly join our mailing list, and each marketing email contains an unsubscribe link.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with essential service providers who assist in operating our website and fulfilling orders: Razorpay for payment processing, logistics and courier services for order delivery, SMTP service providers for email dispatch, and hosting infrastructure providers. These providers receive only the data required to perform their specific services.

We retain order records, customer details, transaction history, and audit logs for as long as necessary to comply with accounting, tax, legal obligations, and customer support requirements. Once retention periods expire, data is securely removed or anonymized.

Tellable Books publishes picture books for children, but our website and purchasing flow are intended for adult parents, guardians, and gift-givers. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 18.
